In 2007, Securi-Tech expanded its capabilities into the new medium of designing, and installing Digital Signage and Display Solutions including LCD Video Walls and LCD based Digital Signage Networks. This includes installing the physical LCD Display hardware, and installing the network systems which manage and drive the Signage content.What is Digital Signage? Digital Signage is a technologically advanced way in which to display information, public messages, and advertising content in various public areas using electronic screens or monitors. Usually these screens are LCD or Plasma based and are similar to commercially available flat-panel televisions with a more heavy-duty construction for commercial use and with advanced specifications for running the various types of messages and/or advertising. The goal of Digital Signage is to have the ability to dynamically change the displayed content without changing the physical screen; this is done through the use of management software and external players that are networked into the screen(s). The idea behind the concept is to be able to deliver targeted messages to specific locations at specific times. In its simplest form; Digital Signage can be a single LCD Flat Panel Television running a closed-loop of information from a basic DVD player or computer.
